Video Production
Using video to communicate a message, sell a product or service, or educate your audience is fast becoming the most powerful medium available. Video literally opens the door of your world and lets the audience in. Its power lies in the ability to create a personal relationship between you and your customer, client, patient or donor without your physical presence. In fact, sometimes it’s better than your physical presence….no chance to make a mistake, say the wrong thing, or forget to say the right thing. Whether you want to educate, communicate, entertain, sell, or promote almost any subject, Video gives you control of the outcome. And that’s a good thing.
Most recently, we have just finished production of a powerful documentary called “Esplanade House: Hope for the Next Generation” that will be aired this month on local TV stations KHSL, KNVN, FOX, My 21, KRCR and KIXE. The goal was to bring the audience into the world of a specific homeless population that is a sad by-product of the failed war on drugs 30 years ago. It has had a huge impact on how people view the work done at Esplanade House.
We design, edit, and shoot until we get exactly what we need to meet our client’s objectives. I have worked with my production partner, Morgan Schmidt, since 2001. Morgan has more than a decade of experience in Broadcast media, taught classes at Chico State University and Videomaker Magazine, has done feature films and corporate video presentations.
While YouTube has made everyone a videographer, there is simply no substitute for creative talent, experience, and the vision for designing a dynamic, effective production. Morgan and I have produced numerous projects, some of which you can view in our portfolio.
